Greetings to all members and visitors of Temple Beth El! I am Camila Jiménez, and I am delighted to share my passion for two important aspects of my life: my career in foreign trade and my commitment to our Jewish community.
Originally from Colombia, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, a field that I am passionate about and which has provided me with many rewarding opportunities. However, I also discovered that my other calling lies in strengthening and enriching Jewish life, especially among young people.
As Coordinator of the Young Jewish Professionals Group, I have the honor of merging my two passions by working to foster connection and participation among young people in our community. I firmly believe in the transformative power of youth and their ability to revitalize our tradition.
With a passionate team, we organize a variety of events and activities designed to attract young people back to Judaism and show them the beauty and warmth of our community at Temple Beth El. From cultural nights to learning opportunities and community service, we aim to provide a space where young people can connect, grow, and find meaning in their Jewish heritage.
It is a privilege to be part of this beautiful community, and I am excited to continue working alongside all of you to strengthen and enrich Jewish life at Temple Beth El.
